Thunder’s Kevin Durant donates $1 million for Tornado relief in Oklahoma

Kevin Durant already attained hero status in Oklahoma City for elevating the Thunder to the ranks of the NBA’s elite, but his latest act is more meaningful than anything he’s done on the court.
The Thunder All-Star is pledging $1 million — through The Durant Family Foundation — for relief after deadly tornadoes tore through the midwest on Monday. The American Red Cross said Durant’s commitment is meant to match other donations and be an incentive for more people to contribute.
