Eazy-E and Ol' Dirty Bastard are gearing up for their first performances since their deaths ... AS HOLOGRAMS ... and it's all going down in just a few months. Promoters for the annual "Rock the Bells" hip hop festival have announced a "virtual" Eazy and a "virtual" ODB will perform on stage (a la Tupac) during shows in September and October. According to AllHipHop.com ... hologram Eazy will perform with a living, breathing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and O.D.B. will perform with members of the Wu Tang Clan. Family members have reportedly signed off for both holograms. Of course, hologram Tupac performed at Coachella last year ... and the fans LOVED IT. Check it out at TMZ.com

COPS PULL OVER DIDDY’S CAR

Diddy caused a big commotion outside the most swanky place in L.A. today ... well, it was actually Diddy's car that triggered a guns-drawn response by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies. TMZ learned Diddy had just been dropped off at the Soho House ... an ultra-exclusive, private club in West Hollywood.  Diddy's bodyguard and another person drove Diddy's $500,000 Maybach away from Soho, but they didn't get far.  Someone called 911 and said someone inside the Maybach had a gun.  At least 9 squad cars roared to the scene.  Cops pulled their guns and ordered the occupants of the Maybach out of the car and made them lie prone on the ground, until they discovered there weren't any guns.  The street was closed down temporarily until deputies gave the all-clear. 

DR DRE PAYING IT FORWARD

YBF.com is reporting that Recording industry legends Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine recently blessed the University of Southern California with a $70 million donation.  In return, the university will use the endowment to create the Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation. Launching next year, the four year program will offer undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship; technology, art, design and marketing.  How fun will that major be?!  The academy will enroll its first class of 25 students in the fall of 2014. Dre was named as the #3 Hip Hop Cash King last year by FORBES.  And the #1 musician based on his income.  His networth was around $260 mill last year, and he even raked in $110 mill at the end of last year thanks to the $300 mill sell of his BEATS headphones to HTC.  So it's good to see him giving back to the youngins who spend their dollars on his headphones. Great job Dre & Jimmy!

BEYONCE PERSONAL APOLOGY

Beyonce is feeling better. Hours after canceling a show in Antwerp, the "Grown Woman" singer took to Facebook with an open letter, apologizing to fans, promising to give great shows going forward. "To my dearest fans in Antwerp. I've never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you," Beyonce wrote. "Thank you for your concern. I'm feeling much better now and I'm ready to give you a great show," she added. As widely reported, Beyonce canceled the show after receiving orders from her doctor. As you can see, she did not confirm or deny rumors of a pregnancy. Beyonce is set to continue her world tour, which runs through late Summer. Speaking for the first time since Angelina Jolie went public about her decision to undergo a preventive double mastectomy, her boyfriend Brad Pitt said the move is nothing less than “heroic.” The actor told London’s Evening Standard he’s 100 percent supportive of his partner taking steps to reduce her risk of cancer, which runs in Jolie’s family. “Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie’s choice, as well as so many others like her, absolutely heroic,” he said. “I thank our medical team for their care and focus.” Pitt added: “All I want…is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. USHER SUED BY NANNY

Usher's former nanny has filed suit claiming she wasn't compensated for the overtime she put in, according to TMZ, Usher's ex-nanny, Cecilia Duncan says she made her frustration known (for over a year), then Usher up and fired her last September without ever giving her the overtime she asked for. You'd think that the celebs would fear the disgruntled employee might take their anger out on the kids....but that doesn't seem to be a "Hollywood" concern. Naturally, Usher's camp says the lawsuit is frivolous (just like Diddy's camp did).  We're sure we will hear that Cecilla had some "past arrest" record that they "just" discovered and that would explain why she was finally fired. Not sure why one would choose to continue to work somewhere in which the felt they were being treated unfairly.  But it's very possible. Until they attempt to settle or dismiss the case, Cecilla wants six-figures for wrongful termination and failure to pay wages.

COULD NICK BRING SOUL TRAIN BACK

With MTV’s, VH1’s and BET’s minimized music programming, the rising mogul Nick Cannon saw a void and jumped on the opportunity to fill it. Sources are saying that Nick Cannon has purchased the rights in a multi-million dollar deal for the classic Soul Train franchise and plans on revamping the show for a modern twist to bring music (especially soul music) back to television. Reportedly, the deal is so huge that the source says Nick “now owns everything but Don Cornelius’ corpse.” Taking over, for real! No official announcement has been made, but Cannon is a media mogul who has ties with Teen Nick, MTV and NBC…the idea isn’t so far-fetched.

CHRISTINA HEADED BACK TO VOICE?

Could Christina Aguilera return to her big red chair in the Fall? According to trusted sources, the Grammy-winning vocalist is in negotiations to return to "The Voice." During an upfront presentation Monday, NBC confirmed that "The Voice" will air both this Fall 2013 and Spring 2014, within the same time slot on Monday nights. A slight adjustment will be made to Tuesday airings, moving to 9 p.m. (instead of 8 p.m.). It's unclear when Aguilera might return, but the possibility of a return isn't shocking. When her departure was announced last year, producer Mark Burnett expressed that it was possible to have coaches come and go, noting that breaks were plausible to allow them to tour and promote musical efforts. "These are current touring artists, so it’s a matter of balancing schedules," he shared last year. "They’re all in demand and we’re just balancing it all." If Christina Aguilera returns it is likely that Shakira, who joined the panel this Spring, will exit. Sources say Aguilera's deal could be at or around $12 million.

Kobe Bryant's parents have turned their backs on their son -- claiming Kobe was LYING when he accused his mother of stealing more than a million dollars worth of his basketball memorabilia ... and putting it up for auction, TMZ has learned. Kobe's mom and dad -- Pamela and Joe -- both filed sworn declarations in the legal dispute between Kobe and Goldin Auctions, the auction house planning to sell off the valuable stuff ... insisting Kobe willingly gave his mother the items in question ... and it's her right to sell them. According to Kobe's dad, Kobe gave his mother the memorabilia over the years, telling her, "Here mom, these are for you." Kobe's mom insists she never took anything from him without permission. Even Kobe's grandma has filed a declaration in support of Pamela. Kobe's sister Sharia Washington, on the other hand, filed a declaration claiming their mother has been conspiring to sell Kobe's stuff for years ... telling her the family could profit greatly from Kobe's stardom.

LINDSEY WANTS OUT

Lindsay Lohan is determined to leave The Betty Ford Center for greener pastures ... but TMZ has learned prosecutors are having none of it. TMZ broke the story ... Betty Ford doctors have cut Lindsay off from her Adderall, which she has always said was a deal breaker.  Sources connected to Lindsay tell us she's going "crazy" and is desperate to move to another facility. We're told Lindsay has researched other facilities and found one on the west coast which she believes is suitable to complete her 90 days.  She wants to move ASAP. Lindsay is saying she believes Betty Ford is "old school" and is not sensitive to the problems of young people. But law enforcement sources said, "She had 45 days to find a suitable place.  She didn't listen to her people and just did what she wanted so it's her problem now."  The source adds, "Not gonna happen."

BEY PAPA OWES IRS BIG MONEY

YBF.com is reporting, Mathew Knowles is on the IRS most wanted list after being slapped with a $1.2 million tax bill.  It's been a bumpy ride for Mathew Knowles since he ended his business relationship with daughter Beyonce. Though Mr. Knowles' Music World Entertainment group still carries some of the world's top gospel acts on its rooster, the label hasn't seen a great deal of success on the pop and R&B charts. Despite his chart absence, Mr. Knowles is still racking in dollars from Bey's earlier chart take over...but he's never paid taxes on it!.  Now, Uncle Sam has come calling and he wants his money. Based on the years 2010 ($485,575.95) and 2011 ($728,004.89), Mr. Knowles owes $1,213,580.84 dollars.

A TEASER FOR BEST MAN

The first trailer has been released for “The Best Man Holiday,” writer-director Malcolm D. Lee’s followup to his 1999 hit “The Best Man.” Starring Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall, the film picks up when the college friends finally reunite over the Christmas holidays and discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be ignited. “The Best Man Holiday” is set to hit theaters on November 15.
