Saturday morning, 3,000 runners and bombing victims gathered in Boston, Massachusetts to run the final mile of the world's oldest annual marathon, in an event rising to be known as "One Run." Many of these people were not able to finish the Boston Marathon on April 15th when two bombs exploded on Boylston Street, killing three people and injuring almost two hundred.
"It was a beautiful thing," said Steve Poirier, who was running his sixth Boston Marathon when he was turned back when the bombs went off. "As a runner, you want the chance to finish. Better late than never."
